FAQs
Q. What does the initial "consultation" entail?
A. First, there is no cost for your consultation.
I will come out and meet yourself and your baby or babies, become familiar with your home/routine,
and discuss all pertinent information about your pet's
needs.
Q.
Is the information I provide to Anthem Pet Sitting kept confidential?
A. Yes! We do not disclose client information of any kind to third
parties. All client information is protected by Anthem Pet Sitting and
accessed/utilized only in such a manner as to be able to fulfill our
assignment obligations.
Q.
Can I be assured of the same sitter each time?
A. We definitely prefer to offer your visits to the same Pet Sitter
each time, however if that sitter is not available for some reason, a
fully informed substitute from our staff will always be available for back
up.
Q. How does
your Pet Sitter get access to my home?
A. We will need to get a copy of your key from you before our first
pet sitting visit. This will ensure we have access to your house
ahead of time, to prevent your pets from being locked inside.
Q.
How long is each visit?
A. Standard Vacation Visits and Dog Walks are a full 30-, 45-, 60-or
90- minutes in length (at your choosing), and are accompanied with a Daily
Log that specifies the time in/out, the services performed and any
comments your sitter thinks you might find interesting or informative
about your pet's behavior.
Q.
Do you offer any sort of satisfaction guarantee?
A. You want to know that your pet will be cared for just the way you
specify. And we will guarantee it every time! If you are not 100%
satisfied with the service that was provided, we will be happy to address
your concerns and provide your next visit for free. We believe in lasting
client relationships and so our service is only complete when you have
returned home and are completely satisfied.
Q.
What kind of animals do you care for?
A. We care for most animals, as long as they do not pose a danger to
our Anthem Pet Sitters. We do not care for any animals with a history of biting,
fighting or attacking other animals or people.
Q.
Are you bonded and insured?
A. Anthem Pet Sitting and all of our Anthem Pet Sitters are covered by our
bonding and insurance policies to the maximum levels available.
Q.
Do you administer medication to pets?
A. We will administer medication - pills, drops, injections and
subcutaneous fluids at no additional charge but based on our ability to
refer a sitter to you that is experienced in administering your pet's
particular type of medication. We will not administer medication to any
animal that poses a danger to our Pet Sitter.
Q.
What if my property or pet is damaged while I am gone?
A. Anthem Pet Sitting agrees to provide the services stated in our
service agreement in a reliable, caring and trustworthy manner. Anthem Pet
Sitting is
only liable for claims arising from negligence or willful misconduct. Due
to the extreme unpredictability of animals, we cannot accept
responsibility for unusual mishaps (i.e., bitings, furniture damage,
etc.). Also, if your pets have access to the outside, we are not
responsible for injury, disappearance, or fines.
Q.
How am I billed, and when is it due?
A. We accept checks or cash and
full payment is required in advance. Keep in mind that you may also
purchase "books" of 10 and 25 visits to take advantage of lower rates.
Future visits are then credited against your total visits purchased.
Q.
May I give my Pet Sitter a gratuity?
A. Absolutely. You may give gratuities directly to your Pet Sitter,
or if you prefer you may pay it through the company. 100% of gratuities go
directly to the designated Pet Sitter.
Q.
Do you have references?
A. Yes. References are available upon request.
Q.
Do you have any recommendations for local dog parks?
A. Please see our Dog Parks page for a listing of local
on and off-leash parks and outdoor restaurants in your area. |
